Prometric is looking for CELPIP test takers who have completed both an IELTS General test and a CELPIP-General test to participate in a research study.

• Qualified participants who successfully complete the research study will receive a refunded CELPIP-General test fee.

Participation in this study will require: 

• Completion of the CELPIP-General Test and IELTS General Test, with both tests taken within a 3-month period (90 days). 
• Completion of a short research survey.
• Providing a copy of your official IELTS General score report.
• Research participation criteria are subject to change with notice provided to approved participants.

To be eligible to participate in this research study, individuals must meet the following requirements:

• Has completed an IELTS General test.
• Has completed a CELPIP-General test.
• Has not previously participated in the CELPIP Research Study
• Must be able to provide an IELTS General score report. Results from the IELTS Academic test will NOT be accepted.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have taken the CELPIP-General Test in Canada, or in one of the following international locations: Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China, Ecuador, Japan, Korea, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States

RESEARCH APPLICATION:

Our study aims to enhance the alignment of test scores between CELPIP and IELTS, ultimately helping people understand their scores better. We'll use a large sample size and look at test scores along with information about the people taking the tests, like their demographics and how familiar they are with the exams.

If you choose to participate in this study, you're giving us permission to use your test scores, the information you provide about yourself, and your responses to surveys. Your information will be used in an aggregated and anonymized manner, ensuring your privacy and confidentiality. The study results will be published without any personal identifiable information.

• Each person may participate in the study once.
