IMPORTANT: Test takers who do not provide their valid identification during check-in at the test sitting will be refused entry to the test and will not be eligible for a refund or transfer.
If you registered for the CELPIP Test with a passport booklet, we recommend that you do not send it away for any reason (i.e., extensions or visa renewals) before your scheduled test date. If you are required to do so, please send away your passport booklet after you have taken the test or before you register for the test. If you do not provide your passport booklet or the identification document that you registered with at the test sitting, you will be refused entry to the test and no refunds or transfers will be given.
If you have any questions about acceptable identification, please contact us or email us at [email protected].
2. Test Confirmation Email
Once registered, you will be emailed a test confirmation email. Make sure to bring a digital or print copy of the email with you to the test sitting.
The test confirmation email will include the following information:
Registration Number
Your Name
Sitting Information
Identification Requirements
Test Day Procedures
Reporting Issues With Your Test
Report any issues that occur during your test to the test centre personnel immediately. If there was a test day issue that may have affected your results, you must report it using your CELPIP Account within 24 hours of your test. No corrective action will be taken for issues that are reported after scores have been released or more than 24 hours after the test sitting, whichever comes first.
- To report an issue, you will need to sign in to your CELPIP Account.
- Under your test registration, click “Actions,” and select “Report a Test Day Issue” You will then be able to submit the report to us for review.
Important Warning About Cheating
Cheating on the CELPIP Test may cancel your test results. Paragon considers cheating to include any action (i.e., memorizing test answers, presenting false identification, or submitting a false score report to a government agency or other organization) that will help you gain an unfair advantage on the CELPIP Test. These actions may result in severe consequences.
We would like to remind all test takers that providing responses that are not original and/or spontaneous may result in score cancellation, as explained in a short video here.
Paragon reserves the right to report a suspected cheater to a government agency (i.e., Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) or other organization that the test taker is applying to for investigation and enforcement.
